We strive to develop products that are green to both your body and the environment. | Technology | HANDS is developing a method to produce DHA in a novel glycolipid (GL) structure. DHA (Docosahexaenoic acid) is an omega-3 fatty acid that benefits brain and retina developments of infants, as well as cardiovascular health of adults. Recent researches suggest that DHA in glycolipid (GL) structure has exceptional absorption rate and stability compared to other alternatives. However, DHA-GL is not available in the market due to its limited presence in nature. Our team hence developed a DHA-GL production technology that utilizes proprietary cyanobacteria and photobioreactors.
